As well as the below Raceday Checklist, we have implemented advised measures, such as hand sanitsing stations, regular cleaning through the day. The full list can be found in our FAQ page.

All tickets are advised to be purchased in advance of the raceday. However, we will have some tickets available for purchase through the turnstiles on the raceday. Card and contactless transactions encouraged.

Raceday Checklist

In order to ensure we can welcome back racegoers safely, we ask that you follow the new Raceday Checklist.

Safety for all is our top priority. As a leading Perthshire event venue, we have followed every Government guideline and put in place all the relevant protocols to ensure this.

In line with advice from the Scottish Government and public health guidance, racegoers are strongly recommended to take a COVID-19 lateral flow test on the morning of the day they plan to attend. To find your local test centre click here.

For racegoers who would rather test at home, home testing kits can be collected from any community testing site. Alternatively, these can be collected from pharmacies or ordered and delivered to your home address – click here for more information.

You are not required to show a negative test result on arrival at the Racecourse but we strongly encourage that you follow Government advice and take a test the day before or monring of attending a raceday. If the test result is positive, please follow Government advice and isolate. You will be given a refund in full if you cannot attend because of a positive result.

We recommend that you plan your journey to and from Perth Racecourse in advance of the raceday. Please click here for more information on how to get here.

Please ensure you print your tickets at home and bring with you on the raceday in order to gain entry. Alternatively, you can display your ticket on your smart phone. Make sure you have plenty of battery, your screen is bright and your ticket displays properly.

Each person must have their own ticket to present to the operator when going through the gates. You must wear a face mask whilst entering through the gates.

When arriving at the Racecourse, please follow the directions from the stewards to ensure you are approaching the correct entrance gate. The entrance gate will be displayed on your ticket also.

Please note, there will be random security checks made by our security team to ensure a safe environment for all racegoers. No alcohol or illegal substances are permitted on the grounds of the Racecourse. For more detail please read carefully our Conditions of Entry.

Follow the COVID-19 regulations, which include wearing a suitable face covering (unless medically exempt) indoors and washing and sanitising hands regularly. Respect others.

When leaving the Racecourse please ensure you queue in a respectful and orderly manner. We strongly recommend that you plan your journey home in advance of the raceday. For more information on options of transport please click here.

Please see our FAQ page on our website here for any further information, which is updated regularly.

Through all the changes, we still think there is a great day to had at Perth, albeit a little bit different – we hope you agree.

Hope to see you soon, let’s make the most of what we have this year!
