The team at Perth Racecourse play an active role in the local community of Perth. Not only do Perth Racecourse provide an average of 14 racedays per year for Owners and Trainers to run their horses, we also support local charities, causes and movements through events and volunteering.
Since 2016 the Perth team have been involved in various community projects. This kind of activity is not only something each staff member wants to do; it is now instilled in the work ethic and part of the ethos here.
We also work closely with our industry links to the community, led by Racing Together. Racing Together coordinate a UK wide industry wide Community Engagement Programme, and Perth contributes wholeheartedly.
Since 2011, Ladies Day at Perth Racecourse has supported Breast Cancer Now. In 2022, it was our 10th year in supporting this charity and we raised £8,500. We (and you!) have now broken the £100k barrier!

We actively support Racing to School which helps introduce racing to schools through tailored activity days and educational support packs. On average we host 2 Racing to School education days throughout our season and welcome schools from all over Perth & Kinross.
Each year the small Perth Racecourse team volunteer in the Heather Garden at Rodney. The Perth team help the incredible volunteers at Beautiful Perth with any weeding, planting, spreading they need – many hands make light work!
On average Perth Racecourse supports a wide range of local and national charities by donating over £7,000 worth of tickets, hospitality and experiences. We also offer over 100 tickets to Tickets for Troops each year.
