Yes, we do ask that you add your e-ticket to your digital wallet before arriving to the racecourse.
Tickets are sent by email 4 weekes before each event. If you have lost your tickets you can try using our Lost Your Tickets page to have your etickt email re sent to you.
If your QR code does not appear within your email, we will ask for your booking number and/or personal information of the person who made the booking, so we can then redeem your ticket.
Racegoers that require an essential companion will qualify for a Concession Ticket. These can be purchased online in advance of the raceday. Please note, you would be required to provide one of the following on the raceday:
· Disability Living Allowance
· Personal Independence Payment
· Signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID)
Essential companions will receive free admission to the racecourse on raceday when accompanying a paying guest with accessibility needs. If a second essential companion is required, please contact the Racecourse to discuss how we may be able to help you.
Racegoers can travel to and from the raceday by any form of transport. However, we do recommend and encourage the Raceday Shuttle Bus for ease and efficiency getting in and out of the venue.
The Raceday Shuttle Bus Service runs from Perth Concert Hall and back again. You can purchase bus tickets online whilst purchasing your entry tickets.
Ahead of entering the Racecourse through the gates, please ensure each person has their own e-ticket ready to scan. A member of our team will scan your e-ticket.
After you have had your e-ticket scanned successfully, you may enter the Enclosure and collect your complimentary Racecard. Please note, you may be subject to a routine bag search.
We recommend you display your e-ticket on your phone. You can do this by adding your e-ticket to your digital wallet.
However, we do accept printed e-tickets also.
If displaying on a smart phone, please make sure your QR code is displayed properly, you have enough battery power on your device and your screen is bright. Please be aware that we will not be able to handle your device.
For the Picnic Enclosure we advise to dress for the weather as this is exclusively an outdoor area.
Within the Grandstand Enclosure (including Hospitality) it's smart/casual. No ripped jeans or football attire please. For Grandstand Entry Tickets, we do advise you dress for the weather as we are classed as an outdoor event.
Yes. You can buy tickets online up until the third race of each raceday. Once online ticket sales are closed on our website, you will have the option to buy tickets on the gate when you arrive at the Racecourse.
If the raceday is sold out, you will not be able to buy tickets online or on the gate. If the raceday is sold out, it will be made clear on the website and social media channels. Please check before starting your journey to the Racecourse.
Perth Racecourse is approximately 3 miles (5 km) from Perth city centre, next to Scone Palace. The journey takes around 10–12 minutes by taxi, 10–15 minutes by bus, or 15–20 minutes by bike.
The dedicated raceday shuttle bus from Perth Concert Hall is the quickest and most convenient option. It runs before and after racing and drops passengers close to the entrance. Taxis and driving with free on-site parking are also popular choices.
Yes — there are around 2,000 free car parking spaces available on site, with accessible parking located near the main entrances. Follow raceday signage as you approach Perth for the fastest route into the car parks.
Yes. Perth railway station has direct services from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. From the station, the racecourse is about 10–12 minutes by taxi or can be reached by local bus or the raceday shuttle.
Yes. Stagecoach buses to Scone stop at Sawmill, Old Scone, which is a short walk from the racecourse. The journey from the city centre takes around 10–15 minutes. Visitors should check current timetables before travelling.
Yes. The New Kingsway and Destiny Bridge (opened in 2025) links the A9, A93 and A94, allowing many visitors to bypass Perth city centre and reach the racecourse more quickly, particularly when travelling from the Highlands, Angus, Dundee and Aberdeen.
All tickets are advised to be purchased in advance of the raceday. However, we will have some tickets available for purchase through the Grandstand turnstiles on the raceday. Card and contactless transactions encouraged but cash is accepted. Please note, if the event is sold out, no tickets will be available to purchase on the raceday.
Tickets for the Picnic Enclosure must be bought online in advance of the raceday.
Please note, our preferred method of payment is contactless or card. Cash will be accepted if you do not have contactless or card facilities.
There is an ATM available in the Grandstand Enclosure, beside The Barn at the Main Entrance Gates.
There are no cash machine facilities in the Picnic Enclosure.
Yes. If you wish to take your car into the Picnic Enclosure, please purchase a Picnic Car Pass.
No food or drinks are permitted into the Grandstand Enclosure. All food and drinks consumed, must be purchased at the venue. However, you can bring in a picnic including food and drinks (strictly no alcohol or glass bottles or glasses) into the Picnic Enclosure. This excludes Ladies Day. Please note there is strictly no gas, charcoal or disposable barbecues allowed.
A racecard is the official programme for the raceday. The racecard will contain all the runners and riders for the day plus very useful information regarding the raceday, what's on and where to eat and drink.
There is also a digital racecard that you can download to your phone for ease. To download, simply follow this link to the Raceday Ready App.
Both the paper copy and the digital copy of the racecards are free.
If you wish a paper copy you can collect this on entry to the Racecourse.
Yes, there will be Tote and a number of independent bookmakers available on site. Cash and/ contactless options available.
Yes. The toilets will be cleaned and sanitised regularly.
Toilets are located in several locations in the Grandstand Enclosure. These are listed below:
The Picnic Enclosure, when open, has a toilet block, located to the right of The Stables Bar as you face it.
Accessible Toilets
Within the Grandstand Enclosure, there are 3 accessible toilet facilities. One located by the The Barn, and another located in the Betting Hall. These are not key controlled.
The third accessible toilet is located by the Press Room. This is key controlled. The key can be obtained from the Racecourse office just a few doors down by the Parade Ring.
Within the Picnic Enclosure which is open on Ladies Day and weekend fixtures only, there is an accessible toilet beside the main public toilet block.
On arrival to Perth Racecourse, if you are a Blue Badge holder or require accessible parking, please advise the parking stewards and they will assist you.
Please note, the accessible parking is located close to the Grandstand Enclosure entrance and is on grass. It is a short walk from the car park to the Grandstand Enclosure gates, with a very slight up-hill on gravel. If you require assistance, please do let one of our customer care team know, and we can help where possible.
The Code of Conduct is a shared responsibility between the racecourse and you, the racegoer, regarding behaviour whilst on-course or in the surrounding car parks. For the full Terms and Conditions including the Code of Conduct please see here.
We already maintain the highest standards of hygiene on-site. However, we have increased the regular cleaning routine of surfaces and touch points and have invested in more thorough deep cleans. Throughout the raceday members of our hygiene team will be cleaning surfaces and railings as well as toilets.
Yes. You can bring your dog/s to both the outdoor enclosures at the Racecourse as long as they are kept on a lead at all times. On arrival please advise our stewards that you have dog/s and they will be able to guide you to park in our dog friendly car park. However, we do not recommend dog/s are left unattended for any length of time in this facility.
Please note, only Guide Dogs are permitted to be in any indoor facilities.
No. If you need to leave the racecourse as a matter of urgency, please speak to a member of our security team and they will ensure a swift exit for you.
Yes. The venue offers large-scale parking, indoor production space and the infrastructure needed to support technical vehicles, crew facilities and daily shoot operations.
Scone Palace provides stately home interiors, a historic exterior, formal gardens, arboretum and parkland, allowing multiple heritage and landscape looks within minutes of the production base.
The racecourse and Scone Palace sit within the same estate area, meaning very short transfer times between unit base and filming locations.
